On our Diversity series recorders, there is a setting to limit the number of simultaneous/concurrent logins using the same user account.

By default, the Diversity recorders allow 3 simultaneous logins using the admin account. Once this limit has been reached, you may receive messages from the mobile app or CMSONE software stating that there are "too many users to connect." The amount of concurrent logins has a range from 1 - 5 logins. We have limited this to steer our customers to create different account names for each user, and to be able to use up to 5 devices per account. Below are instructions on how to change this from either the Web Interface/CMSONE software or from the Local GUI (HDMI/VGA).

Web Interface / CMSONE Software

From the Web Interface or from within the CMSONE software, navigate to the Configuration/Settings for the recorder you are trying to configure. From the Web Interface, you will need to click on the Configuration link in the upper-right hand area of the webpage. From the CMSONE software, you will need to navigate to the Home Page->Device Management section and then click on the gear icon associated with the recorder you are configuring.

Then from the left-hand column of links, under System, click on Accounts.

For this example, we are going to modify the settings for the admin account. Click on the icon (pencil and paper) under the Password column to bring up a window

Then from the window that pops up, look for the field labeled "Limit Login Number". Here you can modify the number of concurrent logins, from 1 to 5 simultaneous logins. Make sure to click on the OK button to save all settings.

Local Recorder GUI (HDMI/VGA)

With a mouse and monitor attached to the recorder, click on the Start button on the bottom left of the screen, and then select Settings

Then under the System tile, click on Accounts.

Now, for the admin user, click on the icon under the User Edit column to bring up a window where you can edit the login number.

From this User Edit window, look for the field labeled "Number of single user logins" and modify this field (Range: 1 - 5) to suit the amount of simultaneous logins needed per user.

Make sure to click on the Save button when finished.
