If you encounter a situation where your Plug & Play Series NVR or Hybrid system is connected to a display device and after seeing the AVYCON boot logo, nothing is seen on the screen, it could be that the recorder is configured for a display resolution that is not compatible with the connected display.
For our recorders, there is a way to switch between resolutions inside the recorder without needed to see anything on the screen:
- With the included mouse connected to an open USB port on the recorder, hold the right mouse button down continuously for 5-7 seconds, after which you will hear the buzzer beep. At this moment, the recorder will have changed to the next available resolution. If you still do not see the recorder's interface on the screen, you can perform this process repeatedly until the interface appears.
This will apply to the following Plug & Play Series recorders with the following firmware versions:
- Plug & Play NDAA Series NVRs: v1.4.4 firmware and above
- Plug & Play NDAA Series DVRs: v1.3.7 firmware and above
- Plug & Play Series NVRs: v1.2.x firmware and above
- Plug & Play Series DVRs: v1.2.x firmware and above
If the interface is still not seen on the attached display, you can contact our Technical Support department and one of our technicians should be able to assist you with this issue.
